  • Our rules and policies are set forth to ensure the safety of all our guests, please be safe and enjoy your stay.

  • General Rules and Policies
    • All guests and visitors must check in at our front office. All guests and visitors must wear a wristband at all times; all vehicles must display a parking tag at all times. All non camping guests must leave the park by 10:00 P.M.
    • You must be 21 years of age to rent any spot or cabin in our park; primary renter must be onsite while any member on their party is onsite.
    • The speed limit for all vehicles in our park is 5 miles per hour and is strictly enforced.
    • Please respect the property, our neighbors, and fellow campers; do not cut thru sites – Please use the roads.
    • Please park your RV, Car, Truck, Motorcycle, or Golf Carts in your designated site only; no parking on grass, please park all vehicles on gravel roads only and display your parking pass at all times. Guests, and extra vehicles or trailers have parking available near the boating ramp. Vehicle owners are responsible for any and all towing fees for improperly parked vehicles.
    • Please do not give your parking pass to anyone.
    • Parents are fully and solely responsible for the behavior and safety of their children.
    • Quiet time is from 10 P.M. until 8:00 A.M.
    • Excessive noise, nuisance, public drunkenness, illegal drug use, sale or exchange, nudity, foul or offensive language, fireworks, explosives, and firearms are not permitted.
    • Dumping Gray water on the ground is not permitted, each spot has onsite sewer. Use of sewer donuts is encouraged, if you do not own one they are available for purchase at the office.
    • Use of water for non-potable services, such as washing vehicles requires a water surcharge.  Please see management for all requests.
    • Campers are responsible for keeping their sites clean during their stay. Please do not throw cigarette butts or other trash on the ground. Trash pickup will be at 9:00 A.M., 7 days a week. All trash needs to be in sealed trash bags and placed at the road between 8 and 9 A.M. Please do not put trash out the night before as they will attract wild animals. A dumpster is provided in the boat parking area if you wish to remove trash yourself during the day or at night.
    • Smoking is not permitted in any campground cabin, building, or structure. Please do not throw cigarette butts or other trash on the ground. 
    • Alcoholic beverages must be carried discretely in a cup or koozie.
    • Use of Glass bottles and containers is discouraged throughout our park.
    • Fires are allowed at all RV spots and cabins in the approved above ground fire rings only. All fires must be extinguished by bedtime.
    • Outside motorized recreational equipment allowed in our park, such as 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, go-carts, scooters, mini-bikes, or golf carts are restricted and must be approved by management. The campground speed limit is 5 miles per hour and is strictly enforced.  Only licensed drivers over 16 are allowed to operate any vehicles on our property. All Drivers shall be self-insured, proof of insurance required.
    • Children are not permitted to ride bicycles to ride bicycles or walk around the park without adult supervision after quiet time (10:00 pm).
    • Absolutely no repairs or modifications to RV’s, boats, or motor vehicles are allowed inside the park.
    • No generators please unless regular utility power is out of service.
    • No loud music or other noise after 10:00 P.M.  Please respect your fellow camper’s privacy.
    • No person within the grounds shall behave in such a manner as to jeopardize the safety and health of themselves or others. Such behavior including drunkenness, abusive or profane language, or threatening behavior shall be grounds for expulsion without warning or refunds.
    • Pleasure Bend Campground & RV Park, its owners, employees and/or affiliates are not responsible for damages to your property during your stay, all campers and guests are responsible for any injury or accident they are involved in.
    • Violations of rules may result in immediate eviction without warning or refund.
    • You must understand and agree to abide by theses rules and regulations in their entirety upon check in and during your entire stay.

  • Reservation Policy
    • Payment is due in advance of your scheduled arrival date.  Reservations will not be confirmed or held until these funds have been received.  Please make payments in the form of traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks, or personal checks payable to Pleasure Bend Campground. We also accept MasterCard and Visa.
    • A $100.00 Security Deposit is due at check-in.  Security Deposits will not be applied toward rent; however it is fully refundable provided the following provisions are met.
      • No damage is done to the campground, RV site, cabin or its contents.
      • No charges are incurred due to pet damage.
      • All debris, rubbish and discards are removed or placed in trash bags in the trash can outside cabins.  For RV Sites, all debris, rubbish and discards should be placed in trash bags and left at the site.
      • Soiled dishes are cleaned and put away.
      • No linens or towels provided in cabins are lost or damaged.
      • All keys are left in the cabin at check out.
      • All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
      • Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to stay.
  • Minimum Stays:  Holiday Reservations require a 3-night minimum. Weekend Reservations require a 2-night minimum. 
  • Returned Checks:  A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

  • Cancellation Policy
    • A one-night cancellation fee will be charged for any reservation cancelled for any reason.
    • Amounts paid over the one non-refundable night will be returned if the reservation is cancelled at least two (2) weeks prior to scheduled arrival date. 
    • A Camping Credit Voucher, equal to the amount paid in advance minus the one non-refundable night, will be given for any cancellation made less than two weeks prior to arrival date. (Camping Credit vouchers expire 1 year after original reservation date).
    • Early departures for ANY reason are not eligible for refunds.
    • In the event of a hurricane evacuation, or any other natural disaster, or act of God related City, County, State, or Federally issued MANDATORY evacuation, Only Camping Credits (Vouchers) - NO refunds will be issued.
    • All refunds and Camping Credits/Vouchers are determined solely by Pleasure Bend Campground & RV Park. Request for special refunds or credits must be made in writing providing full proof of emergency circumstances claimed.

  • RV Spot Specific Rules and Policies
    • All guests and visitors must register at our front office. All vehicles must display a parking tag at all times. All non-camping guests must leave the park at 10:00 P.M.
    • You must be 21 years of age to rent any RV spot; primary renter must be onsite while any member on their party is onsite.
    • RV’s have a 5 person occupancy limit.  Up to 2 invited guests @ $5.00 per day are allowed. Children under 2 years of age are included in the occupancy count, however will not be charged daily guest rates.
    • Check in time is 12:30 P.M.; checkout time is 12:00 P.M. Penalties for late checkout are charged at the rate of $3.00 per hour in full hour increments only until 3 P.M. – no exceptions. Guests staying late in their spot past 3:00 P.M. will be charged the late fee penalty PLUS an additional night.  Early check in may be available depending upon availability, please call to check availability before arrival.
    • Full Hook-up's include 30 and 50 Amp Electric, Onsite Water, Onsite Sewer and 70 + Channels of Cable TV, all are included amenities for all RV Spots. Pull Thru spots are available at no additional charge, based on availability.
    • Pets must not be left unattended outside your RV or camper.  Leashes are required.  Pet waste is the responsibility of the owner.  Please pick up after your pet.  See Pet Specific Rules & Policies for more information.
    • RV’s must be in good condition.  RV must be in camping shape, no cardboard windows, tarps over roofs, etc. Management reserves the right to determine in RV meets the camp guidelines and the will ask campers to leave if necessary.  Sites and decks are to be kept clean, free of debris and uncluttered.
    • Maximum of one personal vehicle per site.  Additional vehicles including automobiles, boats, and trailers must be kept in the parking area in front of the boat launch. Two additional vehicles may be kept in the parking area at no charge. Storage space is $25.00/month for each additional vehicle above the two vehicle limit.
    • Decks are permitted upon approval of design by management. Decks poles must be supported by above ground blocks and may not be placed in permanent cement. Decks can run the length of the RV and can wrap around the back of the RV. Decks height must not exceed the height of the door on the RV.  Maximum width of the deck extending from the RV is 10 feet. Decks must have appropriate railing, lattice work, and steps. Deck construction will be inspected by the management and must meet approval.  If deck does not meet management approval it must be repaired or removed within 10-days.  Owner’s reserves the right to remove any deck deemed unsafe and a removal fee of $250.00 will be accessed.
    • Outside storage bins, refrigerators, freezers, washers/dryers, etc. are prohibited unless they are approved by owners and on a deck with appropriate electrical and plumbing hookups

  • Mobile Home Cabin Specific Rules and Policies
    • You must be 21 years of age to rent any cabin; primary renter must be onsite while any member on their party is onsite.
    • Occupancy is limited to 2-persons per bedroom per cabin.  Up to 2 invited guests @ $5.00 each per day are allowed.  Includes use of all included amenities. Children under 2 years of age are included in the occupancy count, however will not be charged daily guest rates.
    • Cabins include Full Kitchen; Sink, 4 burner Stove with oven, Microwave, Full size Refrigerator with freezer, Coffee pot, toaster, private bathroom with tub or shower, TV, 70+ channels of digital cable, central heat and air, fire pit and charcoal grill.
    • Check in time is 4 P.M. – check out time is 12:00 P.M. Penalties for late checkout are charged at the rate of $3.00 per hour in full hour increments only until 3 P.M. – no exceptions. Guests staying late in their cabin past 3:00 P.M. will be charged the late fee penalty PLUS an additional night. Early check in may be available depending upon availability, please call to check availability before arrival.
    • Pets are not allowed inside our cabins.  Outside of our cabins, pets must be kept on a leash or in a pen.  Pets must not be left unattended if you leave the campgrounds.  Leashes or pens are required.  Pet waste is the responsibility of the owner.  Please pick up after your pet.  See Pet Specific Rules & Policies for more information.
    • Smoking is not permitted inside our cabins.  Please do not throw cigarette butts or other trash on the ground. 
    • We provide most kitchen cooking and eating utensils.  We provide linens and bath towels. (Pillows, pillow cases, sheets and blankets for the bed(s) and sleeper sofa). 
    • Linens will not be changed during the stay. Guests are responsible for laundering their linens during their stay.  If a guest desires clean linens or an additional cabin cleaning during their stay, this can be done for a $15.00 per day charge. During the extra cleaning, all linens will be replaced and the cabin will be totally cleaned except for the used dishes.
    • Guests must provide their own beach towels.
    • An initial limited supply of bath soap/shampoo, dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels is provided.  However, we recommend that guest purchase their preferred brand and quantity.
    • Used dishes are to be washed by guests prior to departure. The penalty for not cleaning dishes is loss of your entire security deposit – no exceptions.
    • A security deposit of $100.00 must be paid at the time of reservation. The deposit will be refunded (minus any costs for damage, misuse, or loss) after we have completed a cleaning and check of the cabin.
    • All cabin stays are charged a $15.00 cleaning/re-stocking fee.

  • Boating Center Specific Rules and Policies
    • Our Boating Center includes both piers, the boat ramp, and the trailer parking area.  It is for registered guests and registered visitors only, no exceptions. The two piers and boat ramp are closed during bad weather.
    • Boating Center hours are from 10 A.M. until Quite time (10:00 P.M.).
    • No running or horseplay in or around our Boating Center.
    • Swim suits only, no cutoffs, or street clothes in the Boating Center.
    • There is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. An Adult must accompany and directly supervise all children age 12 and under.
    • Approved life jackets are required for all swimmers, no exceptions!  Life jackets are available at the office for daily use and must be returned at the end of each day.  There is no charge for using our life jackets.
    • No diving off piers.
    • Swimmers with seizure, heart or circulatory problems are advised to swim with a buddy.
    • Pleasure Bend Campground & RV Park reserves the right to refuse swimming privileges within the boundaries of the campground due to increment weather or when otherwise deemed necessary for the health, welfare or safety of our patrons.

  • Pet Specific Rules and Policies
    • Pets are allowed at all RV sites. 
    • Pets are not allowed inside campground cabins or bath house.
    • All pets must be controlled at all times and be on a leash when on the grounds.
    • Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. All pet waste should be picked up immediately and placed in appropriate trash containers. Pet owners are fully and solely responsible for the behavior and safety of their pets. Pets are not permitted in any building in the park, pool or recreation areas. There will be a $20.00 fine assessed to anyone who doesn’t clean up after their pet.
    • Excessive noise or aggressive behavior by pets will not be tolerated.
    • Exotic, aggressive and/or noisy pets are not permitted.  The Campground’s liability insurance specifically will not allow Pit Bulls, Doberman Pincers, Rottweiler’s, German Shepherds and Chows. 
    • Violation of pet policies shall be grounds for expulsion without warning or refunds.

  • Motorized Vehicles Specific Rules and Policies
    • The speed limit for all vehicles (including golf carts) in our park is 5 miles per hour and is strictly enforced.
    • Electric golf carts are allowed provided you register them and pay a $5.00 per day fee for a permit. Only licensed drivers over 16 are allowed to operate golf carts on our property. All Drivers shall be self-insured, proof of insurance required.
    • No outside motorized recreational equipment allowed in our park, such as 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, go-carts, scooters, or mini-bikes.  Please note that area residents that have easement rights through the campground are exceptions to this rule.
